Climate
Heiligenblut’s elevation stretches from just over 1,000m on the Möll Valley floor up to the snow and ice of the 3,000m peaks. The marimtime climate is largely determined by fronts coming in from the Atlantic.
The temperatures in the valley fluctuate between +30 °C and -30 °C.
Even though the highest summer temperatures recorded at the Adlersruhe were around +12 °C, the average annual temperature is -8.8 °C, much colder than in Novaya Zemlya or Obdorsk in Siberia.
